Bell Trucks America Technical Training School is an OEM-based training school that provides training to all BTA dealers in the United States. The institution is at 8111 Mills Road, Houston, 77064. The training we provide is aligned with the OEM standard provided by Bell Equipment Company. Our training content is designed based on needs analysis conducted throughout our dealer network.

 

Purpose

 

Technical training is our support function used to equip our dealers with technical knowledge to enable them to maintain and repair their equipment according to OEM standards.

 

Training provided and durations

  • Engine & Drivetrain Systems operation (Mercedes-Benz Engine and Allison Transmission)- 4 Days (see syllabus)

​

​

  • TC7 & TC11 Track Carriers - 2 Days
     

  • Fiori Dumpers - 2 Days (all models)

  • Fiori Mixers - by request

 

Booking Process

 

Online Training Bookings-

 

To do Online Training, use the link below to register on Bell equipment single sign-on. As soon as you have successfully registered and set up a username and password you can then send an enrollment request to training@belltrucksamerica.com you will then be enrolled in the intended program.

In-person Training Bookings-

​

Use this page to sign up for every training. Please note the following prerequisites:

​

​

  • There is no prerequisite for 101- Basic Electrics and Hydraulics.
     

  • 101-Basic Electrics and Hydraulics must be completed before registering for 201-Basic ADT 3.0 - 3.5. 
    You must submit the certificate to be registered for 201.

​

  • 201-Basic ADT 3.0 - 3.5 must be completed before registering for 301-Advanced ADT.
    You complete the pretest before you are enrolled for 301.

Training Session

You will be emailed a copy of your submission -- if you do not receive it, please check your junk mailbox.

Travel Arrangements and Accommodation

​

Your application will be reviewed before you are enrolled.

Wait for written confirmation before booking travel.

​

Training delegates will need to arrange their own travel arrangements and accommodation.

The most convenient airport is George Bush International Airport.

 

The preferable hotel is Best Western Premier Ashton Suites located at:

7495 W Greens Road, Houston, Texas 77064.

Candidates are welcome to choose any other hotel close by.

 

Lunch and soft drinks are provided for the duration of the training.

 

NB: Please make your return travel arrangements to suit 3 pm finishing on Thursday.  

 

 

Training Material

 

Training material is digital, candidates are advised to bring laptops.

Dealer On-Site Training 

 

We do provide Dealer site training only for Basic ADT E-Series Training; the following requirements must be met:

 

  • An acceptably spacious training room with facilities such as: TV monitor or LED projector, conference table, writing board or flip chart, multiple power access points and air conditioned.

  • A minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 candidates.

  • At least two E-series trucks for practical

  • A fully equipped technician toolbox.
